Daniel Reisberg is the Patricia and Clifford Lunneborg Professor of Psychology at Reed College in Portland, Oregon. His specialty is cognitive psychology, and he focuses on memory,〔("The Science of Fake Memories," Refinery 29, February 10, 2015 )〕 judgement, and imagery, particularly in relation to emotion.〔("How to Create Lasting Holiday Memories," Herald Extra, December 28, 2014 )〕 Reisberg earned his B.A. in psychology and philosophy from Swarthmore College in 1975, before attending the University of Pennsylvania where he obtained an M.A. in 1976 and his Ph.D. in 1980. Reisberg has been teaching at Reed College since 1986. In addition to teaching, Reisberg is an active author; his most recent book (with Oxford University Press) is The Science of Perception and Memory: A Pragmatic Guide for the Justice System.
